The Police Service and The Trust
The Prince's Trust needs exceptional police
officers and staff to be Team Leaders or Assistant Team Leaders -
people who can support, inspire and motivate a group of young
people.
Hundreds of police officers and staff have worked with The Trust
over the last decade - actively supported by the Police Service.
Team is a unique personal development opportunity for 16-25 year
olds who have faced barriers in their lives and Team Leaders are
the glue that binds the Team together.
Why police officers and staff?
We know from experience that they make excellent leaders: their
experience of life, background and training prepare them for the
roles perfectly. Police officers and staff have professional and
personal skills that make for great leaders and influential role
models. Please click here to find out
more about how the partnership works.
I am very clear that this type of partnership –
between the police, local authority and the voluntary sector –
provides a really powerful basis for developing programmes to
reduce re-offending.

Director General, Police and Crime Unit, The Home Office
