Sport United
The Prince's Trust believes that sport can
help young people develop skills such as confidence, teamwork,
communication and discipline, qualities which are also required in
the world of work.
The vital support of key organisations in football, rugby and
cricket has enabled The Trust to change thousands of young lives
through the power of sport. Click

Launched in 1997, The Prince's Trust Football Initiative, which
is funded by the Premier League, Professional Footballers’
Association and the Football Foundation, works with 70 professional
football clubs and has helped change more than 12,000 young
lives.
Since piloting The Cricket Initiative in 2003, The Trust has
worked in partnership with 14 First Class Counties and the
Marylebone Cricket Club supporting close to 2,500 young people to
get their lives working.
Since 2005, more than 1,000 young people have been helped by the
RBS 6 Nations and Prince's Trust joint initiative, gaining access
to players, coaching staff and educational sessions on nutrition
and healthy lifestyles.
In 2008 the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) joined forces
with The Prince’s Trust to show young people the variety of
opportunities that exist within the sport.
