Partnerships
We work in partnership with both public and
private sector organisations in communities across the UK to
deliver positive outcomes for young people who need support.
This film above is the story of one of those partnerships.
We work in partnership
- We have over 800 operational and strategic partners. These
include delivery partners for Team such as the Fire Service, FE
colleges and voluntary organisations, schools running our xl
programme and community organisations in the UK and Europe. We also
work with more than 60 football clubs and 14 county cricket
clubs.
- We work with major corporate partners – The Royal Bank of
Scotland Group, Citigroup, Premier League, Football Foundation,
PFA, Superdrug, Marks & Spencer and BT. We share skills and
expertise with over 100 blue chip organisations including
Bloomberg, Accenture, HMRC and many other public sector
bodies.
- We are supported by the European Social Fund, the European
Regional Development Fund, the DCSF, The Home Office, Invest NI,
the Welsh Assembly Government, the Learning & Skills Council,
Regional Development Agencies and many other national and local
public sector partners.
Working with the uniformed services
We work closely with all the uniformed services in many
different ways. Some provide us with staff on secondment and others
work as our delivery partners for our programmes.
Find out how we are working with:
Our partnerships involve:
- Sharing of ideas and best practice, to deliver high-quality
programmes that fit the changing needs of our clients.
- Mutual understanding of our parts in the common service to
young people.
- Sustained contact with young people whose problems are more
deeply rooted and complex.
Our delivery partners
The success of our programmes lies squarely in the strength of
our partnerships with other organisations, and in the motivation
and focus they have in helping young people.
What our partners provide
Along with time, facilities and many other resources, our
partners bring vital benefits to their roles in programme
delivery:
- people - dedicated and trained professionals, helping deliver
programmes with flair
- local knowledge - ensuring our programmes are locally relevant
and effectively delivered
- commitment to young people - sharing our focus on the various
issues facing youth today
- community involvement - with strong local ties to other groups
and individuals
- access to our target groups - helping us find the hardest to
reach
Our partners help The Trust carry out a range of programmes for
young people.
Whether you need a plumber in Plymouth or a gardener in
Gateshead, using a Trust-supported business is a practical way for
you to help.
Our work depends on your donation.
